The Opera Stars Concert Series kicks off on November 16, 2018 with a concert by Spanish mezzo-soprano María José Montiel, and Ramón Tebar, piano, with a special appearance by cellist Angel Luis Quintana who plays a violoncello J. The 2018-2019 season will begin in late October with Opera Naples Academy, a 10-day intensive for exceptional opera singers from around the world. The Academy offers the Naples community a rare glimpse of the opera stars of the future. Certain master classes will be open to the public and the Academy concludes with a public concert on November 7th at the Wang Opera Center.  The spring session of the Academy will culminate with an April 9, 2019 public concert.
