Andrew Allan Hiers is a Florida-based bass-baritone hailed for his “mature musicianship and superb comic timing” with and an ability to sing “with ease and warmth.” Possessing a versatile vocal range with a dark, yet vibrant vocal timbre and an unparalleled stage presence, Mr. Hiers brings a unique color and character to every performance he undertakes.
A former young artist with the Merola Opera Program and Opera Colorado, he is no stranger to leading roles and big stages. Highlights include Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Blitch in Susannah, Don Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia, as well as the title roles in Falstaff, Le nozze di Figaro, Don Pasquale and Gianni Schicchi.
