Eleomar Cuello

Baritone

Singing graduate from the Academy of the National Lyric Theater of Cuba. Which belonged to the National Opera of Cuba. He performed in the most important stages of the country, mainly in the Gran Theater of Havana and the National Theater of Cuba where he sang as a soloist in operas and zarzuelas such like Die Zauberflöte and Don Giovanni by Mozart, La Traviata by Verdi, La bohème and Madama Butterfly by Puccini, La Serva Padrona of Pergolesi, Cecilia Valdés of Roig, La Verbena de la Paloma of Bretón, La Corte del Faraón of Lleó and Las leandras of Alonso, among others. He has performed professionally on the lyrical stages of others countries like Ecuador, France, Spain and Nicaragua; in the latter he participated as a soloist in the opera Carmen de Bizet at the Rubén Darío National Theater. From 2015 to 2020 he resides in Chile where he sings in different theaters of the country, playing roles like Don Giovanni, Mamma Agatha in Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali de Donizetti, Escamillo in Carmen, Schaunard in La bohème, Silvio in Pagliacci de Leoncavallo or Apolo in L’Orfeo

from Monteverdi. At the Municipal de Santiago (Chilean National Opera), has performed in Così fan tutte like Guglielmo  and Masetto in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Valentin in Gounod's Faust, Haly in L’italiana in Algeri and Fiorello in Il barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini, among others. In 2020 he made his debut in Spain as Jose Pimienta in the Zarzuela Cecilia Valdes, and returns in 2022 to debut in the role of Don Diego, at the Opera Don Gil de Alcalá. Since this year 2021 Eleomar resides in Florida-USA, where he plays the role of Belcore in the Opera L’elisir D’amore, at the Performing Arts and Community Center of Fort Myers, along with the Gulf Coast Symphony. Eleomar is Winner of the Second Prize of the Veronica Villaroel International Singing Festival in Chile, and the First Prize of the Competition of the Opera of St. Petesburg in Florida.
