
Kim Stanish
Mezzo Soprano
Praised for her “rich mezzo timbre and apt agility” (South Florida Classical Review), Mezzo-Soprano Kim Stanish recently performed as the Mezzo-Soprano Soloist in the ‘Fountain of Youth’ Concert Collaboration with Central City Opera and Denver Young Artists Orchestra and the title role in Rossini’s La Cenerentola with Mediterranean Opera Studio. Past roles include the title role in Carmen at Miami Classical Music Festival and Frida Kahlo/Alicia in Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World (Central City Opera, Touring Company). She was featured in several roles in Boulder Opera Company’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, as Nancy in Albert Herring (Miami Classical Music Festival), and as Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte (University of Denver).
Miss Stanish holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Denver, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy, both from Western Washington University.
