Opera Naples Academy Concert (#1)

The 2018-2019 season will begin in late October with Opera Naples Academy, a 10-day intensive for exceptional opera singers from around the world. The Academy offers the Naples community a rare glimpse of the opera stars of the future. Certain master classes will be open to the public and the Academy concludes with a public concert on November 7th at the Wang Opera Center.  The spring session of the Academy will culminate with an April 9, 2019 public concert.

The Opera Stars Concert Series kicks off on November 16, 2018 with a concert by Spanish mezzo-soprano María José Montiel, and Ramón Tebar, piano, with a special appearance by cellist Angel Luis Quintana who plays a violoncello J. Guadagnini "Il Soldato" from 1800, donated by the Columbus Foundation.
