Tao Lin

Described by critics as possessing “Keen musical intelligence and excellent facility” (Miami Herald) as well as “opulent and romantic tone” (Fanfare), Steinway Artist Tao Lin performs in Asia, North America, and Europe with orchestras such as Moscow Chamber, Winnipeg Symphony, Miami Chamber, Atlantic Classical, and Knoxville Civic at venues including Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, National Gallery of Art, 92nd Street Y, Rockefeller University, Chautauqua Institute, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, Minnesota Orchestra Hall, Izumi Hall, and Edvard Grieg Museum in Norway. Mr. Lin has concertized as a member of the Berlin Piano Quartet and the Brahms Piano Quartet, and appeared in concerts with Aspen Trio, Miami, Bergonzi, Alcon, Rosalyra, Shanghai, Ying, and St. Petersburg String Quartets, as well as with distinguished musicians including Elmar Oliveira, Carol Wincenc, Roberto Diaz, William De Rosa, Charles Castleman, Eugenia Zukerman, and Claudio Bohorquez at festivals including Mainly Mozart, Music Mountain Chamber Music, Arts Rolla, Highlands-Cashiers Chamber Music, Music Festival of the Hamptons, and Festival Miami.

Currently serves on faculty of Bowdoin International Music Festival in Maine and Shanghai Normal University, Mr. Lin is a co-founder/artistic director of Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples. Mr. Lin records for Centaur, Artek, Naxos, and Romeo labels. www.taolinpianist.com

Catherine Lan

After making her international debut in Japan at the age of eight, Dr. Catherine Lan has since per-formed in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, France, United Kingdom, Slovenia, and the USA in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Victoria Hall, and National Concert Hall.

Dr. Lan has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Sinfonia of the North Shore, British-Columbia Chamber, Fifth Avenue Chamber, Taoyuan New Philharmonic, Braddell Heights Symphony, Frost Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, Broward Symphony, New Taoyuan Philharmoic, Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony, and Edmonton Symphony. She has also concertized with Aspen Trio, Naples Philharmonic, Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Piano Galore Ensemble, Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia Chamber Players, Southwest Florida Symphony, and Palm Beach Symphony. Her performances have been featured on World Journal of New York, WLRN-Public Television, “Beethoven Universal TV” series, Becon TV “Live with Iris Ackers”, Fu-Hsin Broadcasting Station, and CBC Radio’s “Westcoast Performance” Debut series. She appears as Duo Beaux Arts, performing in France, Switzerland, and throughout the USA with Steinway Artist, Tao Lin.

Having earned degrees from University of British-Columbia, Indiana University (Bloomington), and University of Miami, Dr. Lan serves on the faculty of Broward College and Palm Beach Atlantic University.
